History about Perry: I have spent my life surrounded by music.
Prior to creating and launching “The Best Radio You Never Heard,” I was a DJ in broadcast radio and at Chicago’s legendary Metro/Smart Bar. In my role as sound engineer, I mixed many local Chicago shows, as well as toured with artists including Stabbing Westward, Black Uhuru and Ned’s Atomic Dustbin. Following touring, I was Operations Director for a sound company and coordinated gear and personnel on arena and stadium tours by The Rolling Stone, AC/DC, Metallica, The Allman Brothers Band etc . . .
